A Day In The Park (Kings Dominion)

Posted by B L A C K On July - 26 - 2012

Everybody sees the giant sign off to the side of Interstate 95 beckoning them to come and enjoy a day of fun, food and a family atmosphere; Kings Dominion offers every form of entertainment for all ages, so whether your a thrill seeking teenager, a live music junkie, a babe that just wants to lay out and soak up some sun, or the elderly looking for a fun way to get some exercise, Kings Dominion has just what you need. The park’s newest attraction is a flash back to prehistoric times with “Dinosaurs Alive!” which includes life-sized “living” replicas of over 25 prehistoric creatures like the Albertosaurus, the Eotyrannus, the Deinonychus, and, of course, the terrifying T-Rex. Also new this summer is a ride called the Windseeker, a 301-foot-tall tower that spins riders 30 stories above the park. After our visit to the park, our favorite roller coaster is the Intimadator 305, the tallest and fastest roller coaster on the East Coast. Don’t worry though, if you are just looking to bring the kids out, then KidsVille is always a place where they can safely enjoy themselves, meet life-like characters that they love and even enjoy a kid-friendly ride or two. For those that love live entertainment, shopping and good eats, International Street offers all of the above. This world-renown strip inside the park includes a Starbucks, a huge stage for live entertainment, tons of shops to get memorabilia and a number of great places to sit and eat or just grab a snack. Kings Dominion also makes it easy on out-of-towners planning a visit or vacation. Virginia’s premier themed park offers great and affordable on-site lodging and camping and featured hotels. Plan your next visit to Kings Dominion and visit their website at KingsDominion.Com for more information and directions to the park.

California bred MC, Ab-Soul, had his first headlining performance at SOB’s in New York last night (June 21). Performing songs off of his mixtape, Control System, Ab-Soul had his “Black Hippy” members tuned all the way in. Rapping lyric for lyric his fans showed all the love. And before exiting stage left he proclaimed to be “the best rapper alive”.
